Andrew Irvine is a dedicated chemistry educator and advocate for hands-on learning who has taught in a range of settings from Connecticut to California. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from Brown University. Since joining The Harker School in San Jose, California in 2007, Andrew has designed and taught core, honors, and AP chemistry courses, managing everything from curriculum development and lab safety to material ordering and chemical waste management. He also leads a four-week intensive summer AP Chemistry program, mentoring fellow teachers and guiding students toward a deeper understanding of advanced concepts.
